About the Role
- 2.5M-2.9M (depending on teaching experience in Korea) +full benefits
Job Overview:
1. School area: Gangdong Campus
2. Working hours: 9:00 AM-6:35 PM (1-hour lunch, plus breaks and prep hours)
3. Pay: 2.5~2.9 million KRW + lunch in cafeteria + full benefits
4. Age group: Kinder (4-7-year-olds) and 1st-grade Elementary up to grade 5
5. Start: Sept 1st, 2025 (training for one week before)
Benefits: Standard
· Monthly Pay: 2.4 to 2.9 million KRW start, but negotiable
depending on experience
· Single-furnished housing or a housing stipend (up to the teacher’s choice) or 500,000 housing allowance
· Flight Reimbursement of up to 1 million KRW
KRW upon successful completion of the contract (except for the
teachers -` who are already in Korea)
· 11 paid vacation days a year in addition to national holidays set by our school and a Severance bonus upon completing the 1-year contract. Medical Insurance: 50% of the National Insurance premium is paid for by our school. Monthly contribution to the National Pension Fund

Requirements

🎓 Bachelor’s Degree (or Higher)
You must hold at least a BA or BS degree from an accredited university in your home country or in a country where English is the official language.
🔍 Clean Criminal Record
You must provide a national-level criminal background check (CBC/CRC) that is:

🩺 Health & Drug Check
A medical exam is required after arrival in Korea. It includes:
General health screening
Drug test
HIV test
Some schools also ask for a self-assessed health statement before issuing a contract.
📜 TEFL / TESOL Certification (Optional but Preferred)
Not required by Korean Immigration for the E-2 visa itself.
Strongly preferred by employers, especially:
120+ hour courses
Courses with a teaching practicum
💡 Note: Many schools require a 120-hour TEFL/TESOL certificate even though it's not a legal visa requirement.
